تعریف

وام دانشجویی وامی است که به دانشجویان داده می‌شود و برای بازپرداخت مخارج مرتبط با تحصیل نظیر شهریه دانشکده، اتاق و خورد و خوراک در دانشگاه یا تهیه کتاب‌ها مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. بسیاری از این وام‌ها به دانشجویان در نرخ بهره پایین تر ارائه می‌شوند. دانشجویان به طور کلی ملزم به بازپرداخت این تسهیلات تا پایان مهلت مقرر اضافی می‌باشند که معمولاً بعد از اتمام تحصیل شروع می‌شود.
