تعریف

بانک‌های اجتماعی به عنوان یک بانک تجاری مستقل و تحت مالکیت افراد محلی در هر منطقه فعالیت می‌کند و از بانک‌های پیشرو در تأمین اعتبار برای کسب و کارهای کوچک می‌باشند. دسترسی به تسهیلات از یک بانک اجتماعی در برخی مواقع آسان‌تر است زیرا ممکن است دانش بهتری از بازار محلی داشته باشند.
